Mum goes out for the day and Dad is left in charge of twins Katie and Ted. That means anything could happen. Tuffy the dog tries to keep order. Katie and Ted play at dressing up. This is OK until they decide they need to go into Mum and Dad's room. Tuffy knows something BAD is about to happen. But what can he do? Then disaster strikes when they lose Mum's best necklace…

Ann Bermingham has worked in many different areas throughout her career, but this is the first time that she has added writer to that list. She has previously worked as a teacher, a journalist and a librarian. She now works as a counsellor in a women’s refuge in Coolock, County Dublin. She is married with four children.

Marie Burlington
MARIE BURLINGTON illustrated Trouble for Tuffy in the O'Brien FLYERS series. Helpful Hannah was the first book she both wrote and illustrated herself. Marie is also the author and illustrator of Dear Me!

With lovely illustrations by Marie Burlington of Tuffy with the children and a clever 'dog language', this book deserves my 'four woofs' rating!
