The Author Speaks

Our authors are among the best-loved in Ireland, well-known in classrooms throughout the country. Many participate in the Writers in Schools scheme. To arrange an author visit to your school, contact Poetry Ireland, 32 Kildare St, Dublin or phone (01) 678 9815. Alternatively, more information can be found directly on the Poetry Ireland site.

Readers are always curious to know more about our best-selling authors so we’ve created a bunch of great interviews with them: the results are both enlightening and entertaining. Highlights include Nicola Pierce, Erika McGann, and Judi Curtin telling us what inspired their work, while Gerard Whelan, Eoin Colfer and Jan Michael answer some of the most frequently asked questions by their fans.  Read and enjoy what the authors say in response to their readers!

These pages will be updated at regular intervals: keep watching for more exciting interviews.
