Award Season: time to get out our frocks!

The shortlist for the Reading Association of Ireland award has been announced. We are really excited that five of the six titles on the list are ours, and can’t wait to see which way the awards are going to go.

  • The Poison Throne by Celine Kiernan: with two Irish Book Awards nominations under its belt already and great international sales, The Moorehawke Trilogy continues with The Crowded Shadows
  • Hal’s Sleepover by Maddie Stewart: the first time that a book from one of our series for young readers (Panda Cubs, Pandas and Flyers) has been nominated for an award, which is wonderful news.
  • Move by Conor Kostick. Conor has followed huge success for Epic and Saga with this dark but hopeful contemporary fantasy.
  • Wild Dublin by Éanna Ní Lamhna. A spectacular introduction to all that nature has to offer in Ireland’s capital.
  • The Story of Ireland by Brendan O’Brien. Already an award-winner, this multi-layered, beautiful book will soon be available in a mini-edition

The very best of luck to all of our authors: the results will be announced on 24 September.
