This fun-filled cookbook is packed with brilliant recipes. Why not wake up to French toast and tropical smoothies? Or go to school with raspberry muffins and pasta salad? Or snack on smores and quesadillas? Or impress your friends with home-made burgers followed by ice cream with toffee sauce? All this and more included!

Judi Curtin's Alice & Megan's Cookbook published by O'Brien Press offers something few cookbooks do in Ireland, a brand from the book world trying to shift genres. I hope it works, it has promise and is a fun concept.
a cookery book with a difference ... a real fun treat for Judi Curtin fans who love to read and cook
a cookery lesson that talks the language of 10 to 15 year old girls
a cookery book just oozing teenage attitude, mixed with a large spoonful of humour
Curtin shows that cooking can be fun, and that healthy does not have to mean boring
likely to appeal to new readers interested in developing some culinary skills ... cheerful and practical
for aspiring chefs aged 9 to 90
The first few pages sensibly cover safety and hygiene, ingredients and cooking tips. The rest of the book is given over to recipes themselves, divided into sections with inviting titles.
From what I remember of the Alice and Megan series, both girls were more enthusiastic than expert in the cookery department and I was therefore intrigued to find out what they might include in ‘their’ cookbook
One of the most exciting cookbooks to have hit the shelves from Ireland last year was Judi Curtin’s Alice and Megan’s Cookbook ...
